this was an unlucky race for us until now — we've run some good horses which have been beaten but she is after putting that right. The previous race was always our race!. we're delighted with how she is progressing through the ranks in baby steps. Today is the first day she looked like she had filled into her frame and as we said previously, it is all about next year. If she is good enough next year we'll look for black-type. She is keeping the show on the road for us and I'm delighted for Maurice (Regan) as he is a great patron of ours and he'll get a great kick out of that as she is from a good family.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed B.M. Coen, rider of Safecracker (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he was in breach of Regulation 10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that B.M. Coen was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they cautioned him on this occasion
G.M. Ryan, rider of Ace Aussie, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout
C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Morph Speed, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not get a clear run in the straight.
An extended handicap for four years old and upwards that at entry have run three or more times under any Rules of Racing, at least one of those runs having been over a distance of nine furlongs or more on or after 1st May, 2022 (100 = 10st)
