Leigh Roche was happy to track favourite Pinwood in the early stages of the race, and Dermot Weld's 6-5 chance was always travelling best, running on well to leave the market leader six and a half lengths behind.
Michael Mulvany's Prove The Point did the business in the www.countysligoraces.com Handicap.
Gary Carroll had to niggle along in the early stages on the 13-2 chance just to hold her place, but she galloped on remorselessly up the straight to beat True Companion by half a length.< Oiche Mhaith Boy completed his hat-trick in workmanlike fashion in the Kennedy's Bar Sligo Handicap for trainer Kieran Purcell.
The 6-5 favourite was handily ridden by Keiren Fallon and kept on strongly under pressure to get the better of Shamar by three-quarters of a length.< Mega Fortune produced a tremendous performance to land the concluding Guinness Handicap for trainer Andrew Oliver.
Connor Hoban was happy to be given a lead by Dewdrop but once taking up the running before the turn for home, the 8-1 chance charged clear, eventually winning eased down by 14 lengths from the pacesetter.
