< Maundy Money continued his recent resurgence when following up last week's Roscommon victory off a 9lb higher mark at Killarney.
Sent off 9-2 co-favourite of four in the O'Keeffe's Marquee Hire Rathmore Handicap, David Marnane's experienced 10-year-old once again travelled sweetly for Connor King and was still cruising on the bridle two furlongs from the finish.< Slim Chance emerged from the pack to lay down a challenge but Maundy Money scored cosily by a length and three-quarters and now looks set for a sixth appearance at the Galway Festival.< Abu Nayef relished the step up in distance when opening his account in the Killarney Avenue/Munster Joinery Handicap.
A very well-backed 2-1 chance under Declan McDonogh, John Oxx's representative flew home from the back of the five-runner field to nail front-runner Lady Giselle by three parts of a length.
It was the three-year-old's first try over the 13-furlong trip and it certainly worked the oracle.< Greeneyed Monster ridden by Chris Hayes, got up close home to win the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Race.
Kevin Prendergast's 20-1 winner showed some potential when fourth on debut at Bellewstown and built on that effort with a short-head defeat of Bluebell who had helped force the early pace.< Shalaman (7-2 favourite) won the International Hotel Killarney Apprentice Handicap after being awarded the race in the stewards room.
Arthur Moore's Positive Vibes passed the post first but was deemed to have caused interference to Leigh Roche's mount Shalaman, and the placings were reversed following a lengthy inquiry.< Prince Of Fire (6-1) showed an impressive burst of speed to win the Racing Post Handicap Chase.< Go All The Way made a brave attempt to make all but Absolutely Fantastic and Mahrajaan went in hot pursuit three out, with David Casey playing the stalking role on Charlie Swan's Prince Of Fire.
He pounced at the last and skipped clear to beat Absolutely Fantastic by eight and a half lengths.
