Pat Smullen overtook Joseph O'Brien at the top of the jockeys' championship with a double at Dundalk.
One behind last year's leading apprentice before racing, Smullen moved to 73 winners for the season after scoring on Bracing Breeze and Mouteab for boss, Dermot Weld.
Bracing Breeze is likely to have her sights raised considerably after a taking display in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden.
Khalid Abdullah's daughter of Dansili disputed the lead with Bronte before the pair pulled clear up the straight.
Smullen didn't have to get too serious to get the better of the argument as the 2-1 favourite cruised a length and three-quarters clear.
Mouteab (9-4 favourite) took the Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C & G) Maiden by half a length from the O'Brien-ridden Magician < Precious Stone made it eighth time lucky with a convincing display in the Christmas Party Packages At Dundalk Stadium Fillies Maiden.
Wayne Lordan kicked for home on the 15-8 favourite soon after turning in and his mount responded to beat You Got Heart by two and three-quarter lengths.< Heavy Weight (12-1) won division one of the Horse & Greyhound Racing Friday 28th September Handicap for Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning, while the in-form Chris Hayes guided Paul Deegan's Creek Falcon home in front at odds of 12-1 in division two.
Darren Bunyan's Grey Danube (5-1) extended his fine course record with a narrow defeat of Almadaa in the Dundalk Stadium Lights Up Friday 28, while Declan McDonogh judged it to perfection on Charles O'Brien's Civil War (11-4) in the Dundalk Stadium - Light Up Your Night Maiden.< Via Ballycroy (6-1) gained a richly deserved first career win in the Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk Maiden.
Placed in four of her six previous starts, Mick Halford's filly burst to the front inside the final furlong and stretched a length and three-quarters clear of Candlehill Girl despite veering left under pressure.
