< Inxile hit the jackpot in Ireland once again as the Dandy Nicholls-trained sprinter landed the feature Cork Stakes at the Mallow track.
Winner of a similar Listed event at Naas a week ago, the six-year-old was sent off the 10-11 favourite and was soon at the head of affairs under the handler's son Adrian.
He was challenged hard by Katla a furlong out but found plenty when required and cleared away to score by three lengths and take the prize back to Yorkshire.
David Wachman's newcomer Azores a half-sister to Irish Derby winner Frozen Fire, was heavily backed into 7-2 before the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden, but she was edged out by her stable companion Sapphire Pendant
Billy Lee looked to have the race sewn up when he took over in the straight on Azores, but Seamie Heffernan pounced late and nudged his mount out to score by a neck at 33-1.
The Wachman yard has a very speedy type in Requinto who was third on his debut at Leopardstown earlier this month and stepped up on that to take the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Race.
Quickly into the lead, the 1-2 favourite put the contest to bed when Wayne Lordan asked him to quicken two furlongs out, and he beat Ishvana by three and a half lengths.
Wachman completed a treble and Lordan a double when Giant Step (13-8) ran away with the Best Dressed Lady & Gent (C & G) Maiden, winning by five and a half lengths.
Fran Berry was alert to the chance when a gap appeared on the rail in the Jason Fallon Live July 8th Handicap and he shot through on the Thomond O'Mara-trained Castle Bar Sling (14-1) before holding off Lime Tree Valley by half a length.
Niall McCullagh quickly grabbed the rail on Timeless Call in the Mallow Town Summer BBQ Evening July 8th Handicap and Reggie Roberts' 12-1 shot was always going best before winning by two and a half lengths.
