< Keelaghan justified strong support to win the feature Kinsale Handicap Chase in great style at Cork.
Tony Martin's 10-year-old travelled comfortably for Ruby Walsh who brought him to challenge the always prominent Bachelor Affair at the second last.
A mighty leap at the final fence sealed victory for the 11-10 favourite, who went on to score by four lengths.
"He was very unlucky in Galway and reversed the form with those that finished in front of him from there," said the County Meath trainer.
"He has to have good ground as he had a wind job done before. There is a nice two mile handicap for him in Cheltenham on the Friday of the Paddy Power meeting so he could go there."
Walsh was completing a 5-1 double after earlier bringing Anshan Dreams with a perfectly-timed run to take the I.N.H. Stallion Owners European Breeders Fund Novice Hurdle.
The well-backed 2-1 favourite led after jumping the last and went on to beat Michelle's Express by a length and three quarters.
"I wouldn't have managed what Ruby did there. It is easy to get a good horse beaten when there is no gallop," said trainer Adrian Maguire.
Jockey Tom Doyle was back in the winner's enclosure for the first time since August when guiding home Arguidos (11-2) in the Jimmy Crowley Live After Racing October 31st Handicap Hurdle.
Trainer Nicky Stokes, celebrating his first success under Rules, said: "We're mainly a point-to-point yard and we just got left with this fellow after we bought him as a three-year-old.
"We'll see about Thurles on Thursday where he is in over two miles six (furlongs) with a 4lb penalty."< Back Of The Pack (12-1) made it two out of two over fences when landing the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Novice Chase by a short head from Sebadee and surviving a stewards' inquiry.
Trainer Colin Kidd said of the Mick Darcy-ridden winner: "She is as tough as they come.
"She deserves a crack at black-type now and there is a Grade Three Mares' novice chase for her in Clonmel."
