Gigginstown look to have a filly of some promise on their hands as Whistle Dixie took the bumper in Limerick without being asked a serious question by Steven Clements.

The four-year-old daughter of Kayf Tara won a point-to-point at Lemonfield in March for Pat Doyle. She went off 4/5 favourite for Gordon Elliott in this bumper.

She travelled strongly and was on terms half a mile from home. She picked up the lead two furlongs out and quickly pulled away from her 14 rivals. She won by three and three quarter lengths.

There was a protracted battle for second place which saw Seeking Susan (16/1) finish two lengths in front of Ma Garrett (5/1).

Jockey Steven Clements said: "She's a half sister to Kicking King. She's very good and did it well although she badly needed it and blew up on me.

"Turning in she didn't really go on it, but she'll be a lovely mare and might be one for a big Spring bumper somewhere like Aintree."
