Walsh Gets a Day for Whip

The Stewards interviewed Ruby Walsh, rider of Palace Merano concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned.

Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found that Ruby Walsh had used his whip with excessive frequency and suspended him for one raceday.
