The Dermot Weld trained Universal Truth justified favouritism when winning The Leopardstown Aertel Pro/Am Flat under Robbie McNamara in the colours of Dr Ronan Lambe.

Weld commented afterwards, "He did it nicely, I'm pleased for Dr Lambe and we'll speak to him as he's three nice horses that all have entries for the Cheltenham Bumper and we'll see how they are and make a decision then. It's a nice position to be in, if the ground is good we might run two but if the ground is testing we'll only run one."
