Tyrone Tiger finally delivered for connections when justifying the faith of those that backed him from 14/1 into 8/1 for the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle at Down Royal.
Shane Butler rode the former Cormac Farrell and Denis Hogan inmate here as he began life for the Suzy Barkley yard.
The good-looking Talkin Man gelding ended up beating Indubtiably by three lengths. Snowell got no luck in running but might have had to make do with a place if he hadn't come a cropper at the last.
Barkley said: "He's been second twice and I only got him at Christmas. He's a tough wee horse.
"I was concerned about the ground today as I think he'll be better on good ground – he's such a good mover.
"The jockey said he had more up his sleeve.
"I've got thirteen in training. I'm based in Donaghcloney, County Armagh." (MG & EM)
