Set Point secured a quick double for Gordon Elliott and Keith Donoghue at Tramore, and an across the card treble for the trainer, when getting on top in the closing stages to claim the Butlerstown Handicap Hurdle.

There was drama at the fifth flight in the two-miler as front-runner Tom McGreevy ran out and left Craic Eile in the lead.

That rival was joined by Set Point over the second last and the Sea The Stars gelding got to the front on the run-in to record a cosy half length win.

The winner proved easy to back returning 5/1 having been as short as 5/4 this morning. He was following up on a win at Downpatrick a fortnight ago.

Ian 'Busty' Amond, representing Elliott, said: "It was straightforward and Keith kept it simple enough. Gordon bought him at Tatts and he had gone up 9lb for his win at Downpatrick so he did well to win today.

“He won snug enough at the line and hopefully he will win again. He'll be kept going for the summer now and hopefully he'll keep progressing away.

"He is owned by Nathaniel Lacy and his wife Clodagh. They sponsor the Nathaniel Lacy Grade 1 at Dublin Racing Festival and it's their first horse with Gordon. They are great supporters of racing."

Elliott and Donoghue had landed the preceding race with Samui while the handler was also on the scoresheet at Down Royal with Shesadream
