The Willie Mullins trained Tawaagg justified favouritism when coming home in front of the Magners Cider Hurdle with Ruby Walsh doing the steering for owner Eamon Duignan.

Harold Kirk who was representing Mullins said afterwards, “He will go to Galway next, he loves the fast ground and the hustle and bustle of Galway should suit him."
