Simplexity asserted inside the final furlong to make a winning start in handicap company in the seven-furlong nursery at Dundalk.
The Ger Lyons-trained colt had been fifth in a Curragh maiden when last seen in mid-August and sported blinkers tonight.
There were plenty in with chances going to the furlong marker but it was the Colin Keane-ridden son of Invincible Army who hit the front just inside the final furlong.
The 7/1 shot galloped on strongly in the closing stages to post a three-parts-of-a-length win over 5/2 favourite House Of Aviz
Assistant trainer Shane Lyons said: "As Colin said, the form was in the book in his last race as there were Group horses in it.
"He's in at the sales, but the boys will have to sit down and discuss whether he goes to the sales or not.
"He's maturing all the time, the blinkers helped him and he loves that surface.
"He'll be a real good summer horse at seven to a mile.
"If he is allowed, he will get another spin in a nursery here."
