Russian has more to Offer
Russian Buck might now be eleven and on his seventh trainer but the son of Moscow Society showed he still has something to offer when gaining his fifth win on his first outing for James Keegan in the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Chase. Niki O'Shea did the steering on the 20/1 shot.
Kenneth Quinn, the winning owner said: "It's his fifth win. He'll go for a bigger race now. He wouldn't like that ground, he'd like it softer." Russian Buck, bred by his owner, has certainly proved durable as he made his debut in a bumper in April 2002. (EM)
