Rose De Pierre puts her unbeaten record on the line in the Clodovil European Breeders Fund Garnet Stakes at Naas Sunday.

The daughter of Dubawi is the first foal of Profound Beauty, a talented staying mare for trainer Dermot Weld and owner-breeders Moyglare Stud Farm.

Rose De Pierre made a flying start to her career for the same connections, claiming a narrow victory on her Curragh debut.

She returned to Irish Flat racing headquarters to win a nursery on Oaks weekend and completed her hat-trick in the Listed Platinum Stakes at Cork in early August.

Fiona Craig, breeding advisor for Moyglare, is keeping her fingers crossed the exciting filly can round off her season with another victory this weekend.

Craig said: "She's in very good form and we're hopeful, but it's a big field and a competitive race.

"She's progressed from winning her maiden at the Curragh, to winning a handicap to winning a Listed race. This will be her last run of the year and then we'll put her way.

"She's Profound Beauty's first foal, so it's a great start for her. You would expect her to get better with age, but then again she's much faster than we thought she'd be, even allowing for her being by Dubawi.

"Profound Beauty went on until she was seven. I'm not saying this filly will go on for that long, but you never know."

The only British challenger in a 19-strong field is the Sir Michael Stoute-trained Intimation

Another daughter of Dubai out of high-class racemare Infallible, the four-year-old is making her second successive appearance in Ireland having finished third in a Group Three at Gowran Park last month.

Chris Richardson, managing director for owners Cheveley Park Stud, said: "She came out of her last race really well and appears in good form.

"She's progressive, she'll like the ground and she ran really well last time despite not having a lot of luck in running.

"It sounds like this could be another tricky affair, so we'll see what happens."

Other contenders include Kevin Prendergast's course scorer Cool Thunder and Glamorous Approach from Jim Bolger's yard.
