Pimstrel s swift exit from stall 13 allowed her to dominate from the front in the first division of the Rose Hotel Handicap over seven furlongs in Listowel.
The five-year-old mare travelled kindly for Leigh Roche and cranked up the pressure on her hard-at-work rivals racing to the final furlong.
The nicely backed 7/2 favourite kept up the gallop to close the race out by three lengths. Well Suited came in second at 9/1 and was half a length in front of Approachcautiously (12/1).
Trainer Jarlath Fahey said: "It is great to get a winner at the Listowel festival, they are hard to get. She did it well today, the bit of rain last night kept the ground on the slow side which she loves.
"As Leigh says, she is quick from the gate and into her stride and is able to keep up the momentum on soft ground. For a low-grade filly she is honest, that is her level and Leigh gave her a great ride.
"She is due for a rise after her last run and another for today but we'll have a look now. As long as she keeps her form, we'll keep her busy between now and the end of the season.
"She pulled a muscle earlier in the year and had the summer off as it was so dry, but she has paid her way again this year."
Pimstrel returned off an absence of 11 months to finish runner-up at Gowran Park on Saturday.
