The withdrawal of the well-backed newcomer Keyboard Melody (refused to load) necessitated a 25 cent Rule 4 but that'll have mattered little to owner Jaber Abdullah, trainer Paul Deegan and rider Chris Hayes after Prince Of All (5/6 favourite) landed the McCrystals XL Jenkinstown Maiden at Dundalk.
It took the Iffraaj colt, third on his previous start behind Century, a little while to master I'vegotafeeling but once he did the 'jolly' was able to go and pull three and three parts of a length clear at the line and there was a five length gap back to the third home, Urban Moon
"He's a fair horse hopefully. He's a gorgeous big horse," enthused Deegan.
He added: "It was nice to get one run into him last year and he ran very well. He's probably a bit ground dependent and we'd be in no rush on soft ground.
"We'll leave all the options open. He could improve a fair bit from that. Before today we hoped he'd win and then go for a Guineas trial.
"Chris felt he didn't really hit top gear and another furlong or two would be no hindrance.
"The Ballysax is an option. He looks like a horse that will stay and is exciting hopefully."
The Stewards informed D. K. Weld, trainer that Keyboard Melody, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
