Genoah finished with a flourish for Colin Keane to grab the spoils in the Irishinjuredjockeys.com Maiden at Dundalk.

The 4/1 shot raced in mid-division and progressed to fifth approaching the final furlong. The son of U S Navy Flag ran on well into the lead in the final 100 yards and closed it out by a length for ALTO EQUINE Building Solutions. Sacred Oath (17/2) took the runner-up berth and was a length and a-quarter in front of 10/11 favourite Tribal Star

Trainer Michael O'Callaghan said: "He's not champion jockey for nothing!

"Delighted for the lads that own him, good friends of mine.

"He handles the surface well.

"Stepped him up to a mile and one in Punchestown and he came home well, and the step up to a mile and a-quarter here really suited him.

"He's at the backend of his three-year-old year, but he is still relatively lightly raced - it is only his fifth run.

"We'll see what the handicapper does and he could possibly go handicapping here, he's in good form and he likes it up here.

"We'll see what is there for him.

"Colin thinks as he grows up he will have no problem staying a mile and a-half. He's still a little bit green when he got there, he just had a little look.

"Colin was delighted with him."
