Mozoltov takes bumper in style
Mozoltov turned the concluding bumper at Thurles into a procession when making all for an effortless success.
Willie Mullins' charge was a warm order for the two-mile contest (8/11 in morning into 1/3 favourite) and backers never had an anxious moment.
Patrick Mullins let his mount stretch clear down the home straight and he never had to come off the bridle to record a comprehensive 13-length success.
The winner had run into a very smart sort in Mount Benbulben when second on his debut here last February.
It was a first and last race double for the trainer following the success of Quel Esprit and the Closutton handler said afterwards:-
"He did what we hoped he would do first time out. He'll go for a winners bumper now and should improve for better ground."
