Interpretation (11/8) led after a furlong and made the rest of the running under Ryan Moore to win the Kingdom Of Bahrain Race in good style.

His two rivals, Sacred Rhyme (12/1) and the 8/11 favourite Okita Soushi tried to challenge in the straight but the Galileo colt found more in the final furlong to beat that pair by two and a lengths and three quarters of a length.

After Point Lonsdale earlier, Moore was doubling up for the evening, along with winning trainer Aidan O’Brien who commented: “He's a hardy horse and he kept finding. He's lazy at home, just sleeps and eats, so you're never really sure what's in there.

“He won his maiden at the Curragh and the second has come out and won well after.

“He gets the trip well. He's solid, genuine and uncomplicated.

“We'll have to throw him into something next, we'll see what kind of mark he gets.

“He's a hard horse to really assess because you don't know what's there.

“We'll probably go for a stakes race next and the Vinnie Roe (1m 6f at this track on August 12th) would look a suitable option.”
