The opening race on day two of the Punchestown Festival, The Martinstown Opportunity Series Final Handicap Hurdle was won by 25/1 shot Montana Slim ridden by Keith Clarke and trained by Michael O'Hare.

Clarke raced the Accordian gelding in behind the leaders, improved to lead entering straight and kept on well from last to win by an easy 11 lengths.

The 5/1 favourite Keki Buku from the Philip Hobbs yard could only manage to finish 18th.
