Mogul (8/13 fav), a full-brother to Juddmonte International and Grand Prix de Paris winner Japan, made all for a comfortable success in the opening 1m 2-y-o maiden at the Curragh. A promising second on debut at Gowran Park, he went away inside the final quarter mile to defeat Shekhem (7/2) and the debutant Jurgen (50/1) by an untroubled three and a quarter and three and three quarter lengths.
“He's a lovely horse, said winning rider Ryan Moore.
"Obviously he has a great pedigree and he's a big strong boy. He travelled and was very smooth through the whole race, I was very happy with him.”
