The Michael Browne trained Ability N Delivery who was winner here at the festival back in July was back in the winner’s enclosure after he landed the Golf Bag Handicap in the hands of the very capable Emmett McNamara.

McNamara was always prominent on son of Kyliachy, the pair were strongly pressed inside the final furlong but kept on well under a strong drive by McNamara to hold off Gracious Girl from the Dave Marnane stable by a head.

Winning trainer Michael Browne was not present for the win.

The 9/2 favourite Faynita was disqualified following a Steward's Enquiry as the rider failed to weigh in.
