Willie McCreery and Billy Lee completed a quickfire 34/1 double at Cork as Ostatnia showed good speed throughout to take the Summer BBQ July 10th Handicap.
Available at 4/1 this morning and further supported on track from 3/1 into 5/2 favourite, the half-sister to former top sprinter Osterhase got on top inside the final furlong.
Lee's mount kept on well to beat Zunera by a length, with Anonymous Lady a further three lengths adrift in third.
McCreery and Lee were following up the debut victory of Shrill in the opening juvenile fillies maiden.
McCreery said, "She's been very consistent in her maidens but is bone idle and I put the visor on to try and get her to focus a bit.
"She's owned by Stephen McCarthy who worked for the late John Mulhern in the yard I'm now renting, and she'll go now for the Rockingham.
"Ideally if we could find a fillies only Listed race over five furlongs that would be great.
"That's really a treble as I had the last winner in Navan yesterday!"
Incidentally the John Mulhern-trained Osterhase won the Rockingham twice (2004 and 2006) carrying over 10st on both occasions.
