Plenty of horses have shortened ahead of today's Fairyhouse card.
In the opening beginners' chase over two miles five furlongs, Francis Casey's Max Flamingo has more than halved in price after finishing third over course and distance earlier this month. Dunvegan is as short as 3/1 from as big as 8/1 for the Grade B EasyFix Equine Handicap Steeplechase at 12.30pm.
Gordon Elliott 's Gringo D'aubrelle is very solid for the first division of the two mile maiden hurdle at 1.01pm. Grangee has been backed down to 1/2f in the second split of that contest.
Elliott's Chemical Energy is now generally 7/4 for the rated novice hurdle at 2.46pm. There are three non runners in this race.
