Killcara bounces back
Killcara Boy battled well to land the spoils in the 2m6f handicap hurdle at Limerick.
Joe Holly always had his mount prominent but he came under pressure in second turning for home as he chased 10/3 favourite Dr Proctor
It became a three-way battle before the final flight with the hat-trick seeking Big Jemmy throwing down a challenge.
Killcara Boy jumped into the lead at the final flight, however, and kept on gamely in the closing stages to record a three-and-a-quarter length success over Dr Proctor.
The 16/1 winner was pulled up on his previous start at Fairyhouse in October having scored at Listowel the previous month.
Trainer John Supple dashed off with his charge after the victory.
