Jack Kennedy completed a quick double when 3/1 joint-favourite Say Goodbye easily landed the Donie Sheahan Memorial Irish EBF Mares Beginners’ Chase.
The daughter of Getaway, trained by Gordon Elliott and having her first run over fences, headed long-time leader Effernock Fizz on the run to three out and accounted for that one by ten lengths with Norwigi another half a length back in third.
"She put in a great round of jumping the whole way and never missed a beat," said Kennedy.
"When I hit the front she was very lairy and I would have preferred a lead but she did it well.
"She is a big mare, jumps well and goes on most grounds so she is a nice one."
