The Lisburn Bowl EBF Ulster Oaks Fillies Handicap went the way of favourite Kalaxana (6/4) in the hands of Chris Hayes.
Slowly into stride, Kalaxana made headway on the outer into second after one furlong.
The daughter of Rock Of Gibraltar ran freely, and she was pushed along to lead two furlongs out.
Ridden to assert and two lengths clear a furlong out, Kalaxana stayed on well to defeat Active Approach by two and three parts of a length.
"If she'd been rated higher we would have went to Naas during the week (the Listed Irish EBF Naas Oaks Trial) but as it was we were happy to come here," said winning trainer Michael Halford.
"Speaking to Pat Downes (for the Aga Khan) we're thinking that could be her optimum trip and we'll be seeking black-type with her.
"She's a big improving filly - loads of size and scope to her there. We thought in her homework she would step forward from her Gowran win so it looks like she has.
"She is so straightforward in her temperament and you can ride her any way you like. She's a nice filly and she's going the right way.
"We've always liked her a lot and it has just taken her a while to get there. Once the fillies get the sun on their back and they start winning their confidence comes on.
"We'll certainly be stepping her up (in class). She's so relaxed you would think she could go any trip.
"She doesn't lack for a bit of pace either. Chris (Hayes) just said she was idling a bit there in front but once he picked her up she was in command."
