Instant Impacked follows the plan

It looked like Echo Bob would defy the welter burden of giving 20lbs to Instant Impacked as the pair hurtled towards the last in the two mile handicap chase at Cork, but the fences have to be jumped and a blunder by the leader at the last gifted the race to Instant Impacked.
Echo Bob was a springer in the market this morning from 4/1 to 11/4 which was his SP. His momentum stalled after blundering at the last and although Andrew Lynch got him going again the pair couldn’t get back on terms with Instant Impacked (4/1) and Phillip Enright who won by a length and three parts.
Instant Impacked’s trainer Robert Tyner acknowledged the good fortune: “We were lucky. He’s improving all the time. We thought he wouldn’t handle that ground, but in fairness Listowel was very deep and it wasn’t as deep today.
“I was thinking about letting him off until I saw this race. Today was the plan, so we might look at something else in the next few weeks. Today’s ground was looser and he jumped better.”
