Grangeclare takes Gold at Naas

The www.naasracecourse.com Handicap Hurdle saw a game winner in top weight Grangeclare Gold after he ran out a 2 length winner in the hands of Ian McCarthy for trainer Dessie Hughes.

McCarthy raced the old vic gelding in mid-division, took closer order travelling well entering straight, improved to challenge approaching last and kept on well to score by 2 lengths.

Winning trainer Hughes is holidaying in France.
