Coneygree did not feature amongst the final declarations for the RSA Chase on Wednesday, with a crack at the Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup now appearing likely.

The Mark Bradstock-trained novice won the Grade One Feltham Chase at Christmas but shone again when tried in full company when successful in the Denman Chase at Newbury last month.

That seven-length victory prompted Gold Cup dreams for the Bradstock team and after he failed to appear among the nine runners for the RSA, he appears set to tackle the likes of Silviniaco Conti in Friday's feature.
