Punchestown is good to yielding (on the hurdle, bumper and chase courses) and good to firm (on the cross country track). The forecast is mainly dry with the risk of a light shower.
In the opening race, the Bishopscourt Cup at 3.40pm, Mark Fahey's Das Mooser has halved in price from 10/1 to 5/1. She was last seen winning a point-to-point at Ballingarry in June last year. Montalbano is popular for Willie Mullins in the novice hurdle at 7.10pm. The five-year-old gelding is 3/1 from 11/2 on the back of a third place in a Grade Two novice hurdle at Fairyhouse. Mullins also saddles Bravissimo Chateau Conti and Riven Light
Meanwhile, ahead of racing on Sunday, Limerick's going is good to firm. Rain is forecast on Saturday and Sunday - aerating if required.
