Now racing in the colours of Brendan Flynn For Everyone followed up a Ballinrobe success from nearly four weeks back when taking the Kerry Group 3-y-o Hurdle at Listowel.
Not surprisingly there was plenty going on with many inexperienced runners in this big field line-up.
It boiled down to a three way battle on the run-in as Grand National winning jockey Derek Fox brought the Mark McNiff-trained 14/1 shot For Everyone with what proved to be a successful run.
Well-backed favourite A Wave Of The Sea (5/2 into 7/4) finished with a real flourish but lost out by half a length in second.
It was the same distance then to Theatre Of War in third.
"He did well to get back up after his mistake at the last. If you are easy on him he is too keen and loses his race before the start and trying to keep the lid on him is a fine balance," said McNiff.
"We might give him a break now as he is a tall horse and could improve a good bit for a break. He would go on quick ground but for stamina to come into play he could do with a bit more ease.
"I don't know about heavy but he'd be better on soft, and jumping and staying are his two key attributes. It'll be shark infested races from now but if he got a break and came back he might settle better."
At the request of the Stewards, J.S. McGarvey, rider of Sacchoandvanzetti trained by John Queally, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his saddle slipped which caused him to loose both irons.
Rachael Blackmore, rider of Patchouli (GB) trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount made a bad mistake and was pulled up thereafter.
