Flame Bearer odds on for Flyingbolt with Hollow Games absent

The PS Supplies Flyingbolt Novice Chase is the feature on a seven race card at Navan this afternoon, although the absence of Hollow Games due to a temperature is likely to see Flame Bearer go off a short price for this Grade 3 event.
Flame Bearer is just one of a string of talented novice chasers in the care of champion trainer Willie Mullins this season, and he readily landed the odds at Fairyhouse in January.
The eight-year-old, who won twice at Grade 2 level over hurdles last term for Pat Doyle, was let down by his jumping subsequently behind stablemate El Fabiolo in the Grade 1 Goffs Irish Arkle Novice Chase at the Dublin Racing Festival but should find this company more to his liking.
Mullins probably saddles the main danger now in the shape of Ha D’or who also won over fences at Fairyhouse this season, while Indiana Jones and Barnacullia complete the line-up of just four runners for the two-mile test which goes to post at 4.20. Unanswered looks set to go off favourite for the Navan Racecourse Handicap Hurdle at 3.10, although the Ellmarie Holden-trained Coolmeen Park has attracted overnight support (10/1-5/1).
The action gets underway at 2pm and the going is currently good to yielding with a dry day forecast.
