Dawn Hoofer picked up her third victory of the campaign when staying on stoutly in the extended mile and three handicap at Killarney.

She wore down front-running Bibliotheca to hit the front over a furlong out.

The three-year-old Dawn Approach filly was kept up to her work in the latter stages to come home by half a length from fast-finishing Dancing Doll (12/1). Nanabad (16/1) came in third, beaten two and a quarter lengths by the winner.

Jockey Kevin Manning said: "She's very tough and the more racing she gets the more she seems to be improving.

"It was a very good run (at Leopardstown on Thursday), I just got outstayed the last 100 yards or so.

"I was just a little bit worried by Henry de Bromhead's (Birth Of Venus) who was meeting me on a little bit better terms. I thought the step up in trip would suit his as well.

"She keeps going forward and seems to handle any ground. Trip is not a huge issue either."
