The Glen Of Aherlow Handicap Hurdle saw an easy winner in the shape of the Tim Doyle trained Golden Moon who ran out a seven length winner in the hands of Mick Darcy.

Winning trainer Doyle said afterwards: “He loves that deep loose ground and he deserved to win after he was brought down three times in a row last season.”

“We will try and get him into another race as quick as we can now.”

Golden Moon was Mick Darcy’s ninth winner of the season.
