Dancingwithangels followed up a recent belated maiden win at Dundalk with a second win, 15 days later, at Gowran today in the Family Fun Day June 21st Apprentice Handicap, winning for trainer Tom Cleary and jockey Robbie Downey.

The six year old daughter of Dark Angel was winning at the 35th attempt last month and, having now also won on her 36th start, Cleary later stated "she did it well and has really come on since last year.

"It took a while to get to know her and what she likes and doesn't like. I'm glad she was able to win her maiden first and then come out and win a handicap.

"She's in next week and if she's okay she'll run. Then we'll give her a bit of a break."
