Allez Sea came from last to first to romp away with the bumper on Limerick's card.
The 11/4 shot was held up in rear by Jamie Codd before he was given the squeeze with over a quarter of a mile left.
He soon tanked into contention and was driven to lead inside the final furlong.
From there the race was over as he galloped on to win by four lengths.
Trainer James Leavy said: “He’s a nice horse and Jamie likes him. I don’t think he’s too ground dependant but he liked that ground and quickened up well there.
"We’ll probably look for a good winners’ bumper for him now.” Autumn Showers (8/1) held on to second by a head from 11/8 favourite Hardline
