The Andrew Slattery trained Cloud Seeker won for the fourth time in succession when making most to land the concluding Tote Never Beaten By SP Handicap at Naas.
Having started his winning run at Limerick in June, the Masar gelding followed up at Leopardstown the next month, before winning on the all-weather at Newcastle last time.
Getting to the front early on here, jockey Andrew Slattery set steady fractions, as Thor's Hammer pressed him in the initial stages.
Turning into the home straight, the strong travelling Lord Church looked set to pick off the leader but having thrown down a strong challenge over a furlong out, the 5/2f could never get to the eventual winner.
Trainer Andy Slattery said: “He’s a nice, improving horse.
“I’m trying to convince the owner to let me run him in the Leopardstown October Handicap next Saturday, but I think he’ll probably be finished for the season now.
“He’s something to look forward to and he’s brilliant to jump as well.
“Andrew said he’s idling in front and he’s probably still ahead of the handicapper as he’s only barely doing enough.
“It isn’t easy to win four in a row and we might have a bit of fun in good handicaps next year.”
