Jordan Canavan rode his second winner when Dontdooddson won race four at Clonmel, relegating the Ruby Walsh-ridden odds-on favourite Eight And Bob to the second spot.
This Sky Sports Racing Launching in 2019 Handicap Hurdle was billed as being all about Eight And Bob (4/5) following up on his Wexford success from Sunday.
It looked very much like he'd deliver for much of the extended two mile trip, but Canavan conjured two good leaps from the Robert Tyner-trained Dontdooddson at the hurdles in the straight.
Owned by Brendan Keogh, so well-known in greyhound racing and coursing circles, Dontdooddson was returned an easy to back 7/1 shot (opened at 6s), and he upstaged Eight And Bob by a length.
There was just three parts of a length then to Fintown Boy in third.
"Jordan (21) was in Jonjo O'Neill's and was coming to us but had a ride in Galway (in the summer) and had a fall which delayed him a while but he is with us a couple of months now and is doing well," said Tyner's wife Mary.
"He was only passed to ride last week and it was good the opportunity came up for him.
"This horse did it well and he is versatile enough and could go over fences and goes on easier ground."
Clubs Are Trumps at Chepstow in April 2017 was Canavan's first winner - that one coming for J P McManus and Jonjo O'Neill.
