Busy Soon has an appropriate success
Soon was too strong for the rest at Killarney

Soon has been a busy filly in recent times and on her third outing in ten days she proved up to the task in the Listed Vincent O'Brien Ruby Stakes at Killarney.
They fanned across the track up the straight here with many of them still holding chances at the business end. Alla Speranza looked like she might prevail from the furlong pole but Soon, who had got a lovely patient ride from Seamie Heffernan, came home strongly inside the last to win by three parts of a length.
It was fitting given that the race commemorates her late father Vincent, that Soon runs in the colours of Mrs Sue Magnier. Wild Wind, a filly with a similar profile did the business for the same connections a year ago.
Aidan O'Brien trains Soon and he was winning this event for the fifth year in a row.
Seamie Heffernan said: "I have ridden her heaps of times but we got it right today.
"She saw out the trip better than the rest.
"She is out of a classic winner in Classic Park, she was Aidan's first 1000 Guineas winner (1997 at the Curragh)."
The disappointment of the race, Custom Cut was found to be suffering from a respiratory tract infection. (TW & EM)
