The colourful Oliver Brady was in full voice following Duroob #8217;s win in the Data Select Handicap Hurdle at Down Royal today.

Ridden by Matthew Bowes, the son of Bahhare took up lead three from home and kept on well despite a slight mistake at last to score by a convincing four and a half lengths.

Brady told the Down Royal crowd with the aid of a microphone that “I’m a man you can rely on, I’m not a toffee nosed trainer, I am your man.”

The 5/1 favourite Dew On The Grass who weakened from halfway was tailed off when Stephen Gray pulled him three from home.
