Dundalk regular Coach Bombay struck again on the polytrack when taking the second split of the Friday Horse Racing Returns 25th September Handicap under Fran Berry.

Adrian Joyce 's runner was ridden to assert over a furlong out and he kept on well in the final furlong. Artistic Integrity came to press him close home but Coach Bombay got home by half a length.

Joyce commented: "The plan was to ride him prominently from his wide draw. He worked well during the week, and the bit slower surface suited over the shorter trip.

"I'll have to talk to the owner but he'll probably have a few weeks off and come back here later in the year.

"We lost Majestic Timeline who got a hemorrhage in her gut about a week after her last run in June. It's quite a rare thing, and we need one to replace her."
