The Tom Nagle trained The Bold Becky recorded her second career success when following up last year's success in the Waterford & Tramore Racecourse 2014 Special Recognition Award Handicap Hurdle at Tramore today.
Ridden today by Shane Crimin (suspended Eddie O'Connell was on board in last year's renewal), the daughter of Oscar moved to the front at the second last and from there maintained her lead, to score a four and three parts of a length win over Perrie Hill
Nagle later stated "I thought she had a chance the last day but I don't think she got the three miles in a better race. This was an average race but she won well and didn't do anything wrong.
“She's in again on Sunday at Limerick; she won't have winter ground so if we were very happy with her, she might run. She's running out of time now though as she won't handle soft ground. "
