Dot Love recorded her fourth winner of the National Hunt season as her Ms Bliss took the Premier Bakeries Ireland Mares Maiden Hurdle under Andrew McNamara.

Having her first run for Love, previously with Helena Keaveney, the 6yo daughter of Laveron was always prominent.

She made a bad mistake four flights from home but she recovered well and hit the front at the next.

She stayed on well under pressure from before the last to score by a length and three parts at the line at the odds of 7/1.

The David Harry Kelly trained 2/1 shot Ladenstown Lady finished an unlucky second under Pa King.

She was hampered at the fourth last and her saddle slipped before the next.

King attempted to chase down the winner without the assistance of his irons but he couldn't peg her back and they had to settle for second. Mai Maisie finished five lengths back in third for Sean Byrne and Andrew Leigh at 25/1 while the 13/8 favourite Queen Of The Hill could only manage a disappointing ninth under Paul Carberry for Tom Cooper.

Winning trainer Dot Love said afterwards: "She is a nice one, she has always been nice at home and she will improve."

Assistant trainer Ciaran Murphy added: "We only got her after Galway and a lot of credit has to go to the owner's daughter Helena Keaveney.

"She is a lovely mare and she will have a run on the flat now and then go for a winners hurdle. She's a good horse and she will go for the same mares races that Shadow Eile went for.

"Michael Keaveney from Screen owns her and he wants to thank Sean Gorman from Cleaboy Stud in Mullingar for getting the horse for him."
