The Shebeen Syndicate's Katie Do (4/1) brought up a hat-trick of wins by landing the Beasley Engineering Limited Handicap Chase under Mikey Fogarty at Listowel.
Adding to her gains achieved at Roscommon and Ballinrobe last month, the Milan mare was always to the fore in this three miler, and she had two and quarter lengths and a length and a half in hand over Bottle Rattler and Tulsa Jack at the line.
"She's as tough as old boots and she's improving all the time. I'd say the ground drying was probably a big help to her," said winning trainer Colin Bowe.
"She loves jumping and she does her best work at the end of a race.
"She's in at Ballinrobe on Tuesday and if she comes out of this okay she'll probably go there."
Meanwhile Fogarty enthused: "All she's done is improve. She won three point-to-points and now she's won three chases. Colin Bowe and the lads down there have done a great job with her."
K.C. Sexton, rider of Coolnagorna Giggs trained by T.Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not act on the ground, was hampered and pulled up thereafter.
S.W. Flanagan, rider of Springbelle trained by David Harry Kelly, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped slow and never travelled.
