D'albain is right on Time in Hunters Last Time D'albain followed up an open success at Kilfeacle last month by justifying favouritism in the Bambury Bookmakers Hunters Chase at Fairyhouse. Katie Walsh sent the 11-year-old gelding to the front before four out, at which point the front-running Mossey Joe started to back-peddle after a slight mistake and was pulled up entering the straight. Liam Cusack's charge drew clear before throwing a spectacular jump at the last, and the 9/4 favourite kept on well to score by three and a half lengths. Carsonstown Boy, runner-up to Tammys Hill in the Foxhunters at Cheltenham last year, stayed on well in the closing stages to finish an encouraging second with a yawning gap of 37 lengths back to Good Egg in third. Cusack said, "He's now qualified for Cheltenham and Aintree, and we'd be leaning towards Aintree with him." (GC & AM)
