Punchestown Mon, 3rd Feb, 2025  Drusilla she didn’t help herself with her jumping, but Tiernan gave her a great ride. She’s a really honest filly and I think the only two hurdles she jumped were the last two when the pressure was on her. Maybe she was a bit flat after her run eight days — that was our worry today. We wouldn’t have run her again so quick only she was well treated by the conditions and was getting plenty of weight (carrying 10st2lb). Probably further might suit her as well. She’s owned by a great bunch of lads and they get great craic out of her. I don’t think she’d get into a Fred Winter but if she did we’d go.

Limerick Tue, 28th Jan, 2025  Robinstown He likes it when he gets away on this tight (inside) track and even though he didn't jump a hurdle, he still got away. We kept things the same as last year: jump and stretch them and gallop,. He worked well last week so we actually fancied him today as he was coming back into form. We were planning for today as this is now his level, as he is pushing on (in age). . If I still have him, I'll go for veterans chases with him as he is qualified now.

Fairyhouse Sat, 25th Jan, 2025  Leah's Contessa That was very good. I thought she might be doing a bit too much during the race, she didn’t settle very well but she still found plenty off it and it was a nice performance. I’d say she was just getting lonely in front at the last, she’s never jumped a hurdle in front on her own before. That’s my first winner for John (Breslin). I met him in Galway last year and he said he’d give me a couple of horses. She’s the only horse that I’ve ran for him. He bred it himself so fair play to him, he’s delighted. It’s nice to see a home-bred winning for him. She’s only a handy filly but she’s hardy. She stays well and jumps well so hopefully there is more to come from her.
