Peter Fahey's Tuckmill fairly rattled home to pick up Someone's Wish in the extended two mile handicap chase at Down Royal.

Someone's Wish popped the last well and looked to be making the best way home, but he was unable to repel Tuckmill's power-packed finish.

The latter got up by half a length at 9/2 from the 13/2 runner-up.

Jockey Jake Coen said: "Travelled around everywhere. To be honest, I thought I was gone at the second last - he was very tough with me when I got stuck into him and found really well. Bit of a flat spot and he did it over hurdles in Wexford as well.

"That's as far as he will get. He ran over two and a-half (in Tramore) when Sam Ewing rode him and he thought he might not have got home.

"Today back over two (miles) one (furlong) with blinkers, he travelled and jumped and he was very tough."

This was a turnaround in form from Downpatrick in September when Someone's Wish beat Tuckmill by a length and a-quarter. Tuckmill availed of a 10lb swing in the weights today.
