Trainer Gerry Stack enjoyed a welcome tonic when his Hilary landed the Bet Online At thetote.com Handicap (Div II) at Bellewstown today, under Champion Jockey Joseph O'Brien.

O'Brien produced the daughter of Hawk Wing with her challenge on the outer in the straight and the pair stayed on well for a length win over Zero Euro

Afterwards Bernie Stack, representing her husband and winning trainer, stated “it's a good tonic for Gerry who is in hospital at the moment.

“She (Hilary) is as tough as they come and will probably run over hurdles next. Fair dues to Dylan Robinson, who unfortunately was not available today, as he has been the making of her and himself and Killian Hennessy ride out her out and do most of her riding work.”
